
Dr. James P. Muir brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to clinical excellence in implant dentistry. Dr. Muir earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Michigan, one of the nation’s top dental programs.
After graduation, Dr. Muir served in the United States Navy for four years, where he gained extensive surgical experience, including two years in the Oral Surgery department. His military service laid the foundation for his passion for complex dental procedures and his dedication to precision and patient care.
Since completing his service, Dr. Muir has dedicated hundreds of hours to continuing education, focusing on advanced implant dentistry. He is a proud Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and currently serves as a mentor dentist at Implant Pathways, a non-profit dental implant training institute in Scottsdale, Arizona.
When he’s not in the office or mentoring fellow professionals, Dr. Muir enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.
